Michael moved to California in 1985 and founded Michael Neff Construction. The market anxiously welcomed Michael's unique style of quality driven construction.. Accompanied by old-fashioned Midwestern ethics and integrity, making his business flourish. Building 4 or 5 incredibly unique homes per year (valued at up to $3.4 million), Michael worked in California until 1997 when the pull of family drew him back to his midwestern roots. "I worked with some pretty famous people.. built some outstanding homes overhanging the cliff sides of California.. but family was more important to me, so I returned to Ohio."
"I don't run my business from behind a desk," states Michael. "I'm on the job site every day. The tailgate of my truck often serves as my conference table. There are just too many variables in the building process that require constant, close attention. It may be old-fashioned, but it's the only way I know how to build a one-of-a-kind dream home.
